I decided to try out this software on my Lenovo Ideapad 5 pro, 16GB RAM, Ryzen 7 prozessor, Win 11 Pro, first by prompting it to create an image of Trump asleep at the Oval Office desk. It took hours, working extremely slowly. As I had to go and sleep, I stopped it.
Today, prompted it to create “Create US presidential jet Airforce One 747”. After 20 min. still working, but at this rate, it seems it will take a very long time.
I have been creating images on online free versions at Piclumen, Deepai.org and leonardo ai. It normally takes a few seconds t0 1, 2 minutes, so I am very disappointed at this, because I expected it to at least take a few minutes.
Is this normal and if not what can I do to speed it up, before I uninstall it?

I gave it a try but then uninstalled it.
Ryzen 9 with 16GB takes about 30 to 40 mins to generate an image
The second time I tried, it took several hours to come out with a poor interpretation of what I wanted “Create US presidential jet Airforce One 747”, after 3 – 4 hours of a recognizable Airforce One, but with the words “TS. U. PRESIDENT ONE”, firing off 2 missiles from one wing tip and above the plane, 2 moving in opposite directions, as if they split! 🤔
I uninstalled and will use the online free sites, which deliver acceptable results, certainly 100 times better within about 1 minute.
This is certainly not for me.
the slow processing of generative “AI” models on normal or even high end consumer machines is expected, the cloud computing systems you’ve used use highly specialised hardware we could not even power from a domestic electricity supply! Which to me is a relief!
