What is LUFTRAUSERS?
About the game
LUFTRAUSERS puts you in one fighter plane against endless waves of enemy aircraft, battleships and submarines, with the goal of racking up points before you explode. Vlambeer built it around instant restarts: matches usually last under a minute, so a loss just resets the loop instead of a loading screen. Over 125 combinations of weapons, plane bodies and engines change how the plane handles, and KOZILEK’s soundtrack shifts with whatever loadout you pick.

LUFTRAUSERS holds an 82/100 average on OpenCritic from 43 critics, with 78% recommending it, plus an 80 Metascore on Metacritic. Steam owners are similarly positive, with roughly 91% of reviews landing favorable. Claim it if you like short, high-score arcade shooters you can dip into for five minutes at a time. Skip it if you want a story-driven campaign or level-based progression, since this is score-chasing with no narrative arc.
