Buying from Kailas: what you actually get
The case for Kailas is technical gear at a price gap. A GORE-TEX hardshell runs $405 to $600 here, and the FUGA trail shoes sit between $179 and $390, with Vibram outsoles and BOA dials on several models. That isn’t cheap, which is exactly why the code matters: 10% on a $300 shoe is real money, while $10 barely moves it. The store itself is clean and well organised by activity. The weak spots are around the purchase rather than the product. The size guide is images only, delivery takes 5 to 15 business days by standard shipping, and support works by email on China business hours. If you need boots for a trip next week, this isn’t the place.
Key features
- Trail running is the core range: 18 FUGA shoe models plus vests, flasks and gaiters, the same line worn by the 2026 TOR330 and TOR450 winners.
- Serious alpine kit: 1000-fill down jackets, a $1,840 8,000-meter down suit and Everest mountaineering boots for high-altitude trips.
- Climbing hardware: harnesses, helmets, quickdraws, dynamic ropes and ice axes, so a full rack can come from one order.
- Big-name materials: GORE-TEX, Vibram, BOA, PrimaLoft, Dyneema and CORDURA appear across the range.
- Camp gear: alpine tents, down sleeping bags and air mats for multi-day trips.
What we think
Questions people ask about Kailas discounts
Can I use two Kailas codes on one order?
No, checkout accepts one discount code per order.
Do the codes work on sale items?
Usually not guaranteed. Some harnesses are already marked down, and Kailas sale items are also final sale, so check the order summary after applying the code before you pay.
Does the discount affect free shipping?
It can. Free standard shipping starts at $60, and if your code pushes the total below that, the $15 shipping fee may come back.
How long does Kailas shipping take?
Standard shipping takes 5 to 15 business days after 1 to 3 days of processing.
Will I pay customs duties?
Possibly. Kailas states that import duties and taxes are the buyer’s responsibility, and they’re more likely on express shipments.
What if my Kailas gear fails?
Kailas covers defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from purchase. Email service@kailasgear.com with photos and your order number, and the team replies within 1 to 3 business days with a repair, replacement or store credit. Normal wear, like outsole abrasion, isn’t covered.
