What is Flotsam?

About the game

Flotsam is a city builder set after a flood has covered almost everything. Your town floats, and you build it from junk pulled out of the water, turning plastic and driftwood into homes and workshops. The people living there, called drifters, need fresh water, food and cures for illnesses caused by the pollution around them. The whole town can sail, so you move it between ruins and islands to salvage materials and pick up survivors. Research takes you from burning firewood toward cleaner power.

8Expert Score
Good

Flotsam has an OpenCritic page but too few reviews for a Top Critic Average. Metro GameCentral gave it 8/10, and CrazyGameCommunity.it scored it 7.5/10 while flagging monotony over long sessions. Player scores are solid: Very Positive on Steam (84% of 2,058 English reviews) and 4.5 out of 5 on Epic.
Claim it if you like slow builders where keeping a small town healthy matters more than growing a big one.
Skip it if you want fast action, or long stretches of micromanagement wear on you.
