quality of png to svg is “as usual”…..
This does not convert SVG into other vector formats, like WMF, EMF or PSD, only raster formats and this new version adds an attempt at creating vectorised SVG output from raster file inputs… sadly the quality achieved with full colour photos is very disappointing with colours being reduced in a very ugly way and did not honour exif orientation data so rotated the image 90degrees from where it was supposed to be . I suspect it needs very simple solid colour raster images like non-animated GIF made out of solid colour shapes to be bearable. It does not convert a vector SVG into a vector graphic containing PDF if I remember right, just embeds a rasterised image inside a PDF file container. Needs more work and better documentation of the vectorising options and what effect they should have on a conversion.
