Why doesn’t it do something useful?
e.g. Why doesn’t it offer to force re-map the failed sectors found out of all modern drives spare good sector pool of normally inaccessible hidden spares. That way it can make a drive USEABLE again! You can scan any drive for sector errors with windows built in chkdsk and have it mark those sectors as bad in the filesystem so they won’t be used… that was a feature from pre-IDE drives days but post IDE remapping bad sectors became an option… used by HDD Regenerator available in two editions, win10/11 edition or legacy edition.
I see this is really a tickgiveaway not a winningpc giveaway… you don’t need to activate this to use it… just to perform simultaneous scans on multiple drives which is inadvisable in many circumstances as will saturate IO chipsets and potentially causes over heating if there is not excessive cooling in the system. Really this is just a cut down UI using the same libraries as Macroit partition manager performing just the one function that is available in the full program and like it without repair or lock out bad sectors operation.
I was able to download and install the program.
