I have used many images editors over the years, including Gimp, and have quite a number, with different features installed, but I think the best for me so far is ACDSee Gemstone Photo Editor 12 which was offered here a couple of months ago. It combines a number of these features. I just like it, use it currently to mostly make graphics.
First off, I am getting hit or miss results with its AI-powered features. That means sometimes it comes off and sometimes it doesn’t.
You can remove the background but tell me, is there a feature that can replace it with another background with the subject intact?
I am also using AcdSee Photo Studio Ultimate. I have no problems here. Everything I do comes off nicely.
