What is Beach Invasion 1944?

About the game

You play the defender, not the invader. Beach Invasion 1944 puts you in an Axis gun position on the Atlantic Wall during the D-Day landings, cycling between MG42 nests, a Flak 88 and a Panzer turret as Allied forces come ashore. Between waves you spend points on mines, explosive barrels, artillery strikes and weapon upgrades. Enemies escalate from infantry and landing craft to tanks, halftracks and bombers, and the light and weather shift as the assault runs through day and night. Waves keep coming, so a run ends when your last emplacement is destroyed. Single player only, with controller support.
