What is Cardpocalypse?
Cardpocalypse is a single player card battler bolted onto a small school RPG. You play Jess, a ten year old who arrives at Dudsdale Elementary and gets the playground’s favourite trading card game banned, after which monsters from the cards start turning up in the corridors. Fights are built around Champion cards that shift into stronger Mega forms once their health halves. Between them you take quests, trade cards and stick permanent upgrades onto them, and those edits cannot be reversed. A roguelike Gauntlet mode is included.

Questions about this giveaway
Was Cardpocalypse free on Epic before?
No. Epic put a 100% discount on it for the first time on 20 August 2026, and GameRant reported that the game had never been given away on the store before. If you have claimed Epic freebies for years, this one will not already be in your library.
Is this the full game, or part of it?
The offer is the Cardpocalypse Standard Edition, which is the complete base game. The Out of Time DLC and the official soundtrack are $7.99 each and are not included, and the Time Warp Edition that bundles all three costs $32.99. Claiming the free copy does not stop you buying either add-on later.
How long does Cardpocalypse take to finish?
HowLongToBeat puts the main story at around 12 hours, 15 hours with side content, and 24 hours to complete everything. The Gauntlet mode included in the base game is a roguelike with no fixed ending, so any time spent there is on top of that.
