Doesn’t matter that I can’t get a 6-month license, I can see by the demo installation that it’s compromised – only ONE ‘effect’ can be run at a time, denoise, OR soft/sharp/ ( face ), OR enhance ( general ), not all three at once, and even on a new 32 GB RAM i5 4,500 MHz 12-processor system ( 4 main processors, + 8 ‘efficient’ processors ) and fast NVMe storage, it -c-r-a-w-l-s- along very slowly on an 18 MPixels JPG ( 4.8 MB file size ) such that it’s useless, about 1% per minute, plan on 100 minutes maybe to finish one pass on one picture, then try the other 2 features, making 300 minutes to process one picture, that’s 5 hours on a NEW computer for ONE picture.

Alternative #1: FREE Google Picasa still beats this, it’s fast, and has a gazillion features, I wish ANY image editing program would START with Picasa’s features AT LEAST, THEN try to offer something better – and the enhancements in Picasa are ‘good enough’ for ‘normal’ viewing, printing, and sharing.

Alternative #2: AIArty, on the same computer, is slow but not 5 hours, more like 15 minutes, and AIArty runs all three enhancements at the same time in ONE request, and the results are useful for cleaning up small crops of larger pictures, though at normal typical magnification, Picasa’s results LOOK equivalent and Picasa is -w-a-y faster and, again, Picasa is more powerful with a gazillion features.

C’mon, programmers, get with the program: Picasa, start there, then give us something new and additional and better to try out for you – if you can’t START with the same feature set as Picasa, then please, don’t even THINK of publishing your ‘look at me, ain’t I great’ imaging software, because if you can’t be as good as the FREE competition, then no, you ‘ain’t that great’.
