For the best performance, the plug-in requires a modern multi-core CPU, a capable CUDA or OpenCL GPU, and fast storage. Keep in mind that ARRIRAW and ARRICORE media can be transcoded but not consolidated, while ProRes support is limited to MXF files recorded by supported ALEXA cameras.

Is this a one-time purchase or a subscription?
A subscription. Since v2025.11.0 nablet sells one-year licenses that start counting from first activation and can be extended afterwards, for one seat or several. No perpetual option is listed.
Can I get a refund if the plug-in doesn’t fit my footage?
No. nablet states that no refunds are possible. That is precisely why the demo exists: it is fully functional and only stamps a nablet logo over decoded images, so you can test your own material first.
Does the 15% code work on multi-seat or educational licenses?
We checked ARRI AMA Plug-in on the one-year single-seat listing at $134.30. Multi-seat licenses are available and educational licenses arrived in version 2026.5.0, but nablet does not publish those prices, so ask them before assuming the code applies.
Do I lose the clips I linked while running the demo?
No. Once the seat is activated, previously linked clips keep working and do not need relinking. Transcodes, consolidations and video mixdowns made during evaluation do need redoing, because the logo was encoded into those files.
Does it run on Apple Silicon Macs?
Yes. nablet lists macOS 11 Big Sur as the minimum on Apple Silicon and macOS 10.15 Catalina on Intel Macs. On Windows it needs 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.
Can I still use my old .key license file?
For a limited time, depending on when you bought it. Keys purchased in 2025 expire at the end of 2027 on plug-in versions 2025.11.0 and later, keys from 2024 expire at the end of 2026, and anything older expired at the end of 2025. The new activation-code licenses will not work on plug-in versions before 2025.11.
Can I move the license to a different machine?
Yes. A seat can be deactivated on one computer and reactivated on another using the activation code in the nablet AMA Plugin Manager. It stays valid for one machine at a time.
