I´m addicted to O&O DiskImage for decades, in fact I have almost all version got it from giveaways and even from promotions when offered at $10 !! Keeping the versions 7/ 9/ 10/ 11x/ 12/ 14/ 15/ 16/ 17/ 19/ and 21x now. Aways comparing with other softwares also making backup thru network to check the stability / velocity and confiability of backup image created and restored.
I don´t know why but from version 21.0.1094 and 21.1.184 the .ISO created além of have more than 1GB against 550mb from version 19 brings only a Windows 10/11 restoration environment like the recovety boot from F10 key, to me sadly I see no use for these version.

Is there any difference between versions 19 and 21 other than cloud storage, nas storage and protection against virus and malware?

The average user just needs to backup Windows to an external disk.
Just my 2 cents worth.
I find the the rescue disk not to my liking. First off, you have to click to agree to their conditions.Next up, you need to choose the option.
It is much easier for me to create my own MSDOS rescue disk.
