What is Project First Contact?
A first-person horror game from Moldovan studio Atomic Fabrik, released in July 2017. UFOs have taken over Earth, people are hallucinating, and the aliens have been mutating animals and humans as part of the experiment the title refers to. You fight your way across seven areas, ending at Area 51, against enemies that include headless zombies, giant scorpions and, per the developer’s own feature list, flying rabbits and dinosaur goats. Single player, with controller support. Nobody on the team has played it.
