Software is sux. Can download video from youtube WITHOUT AUDIO!!!!!! even if you choose option VIDEO + AUDIO.
This seems to be the ‘pro’ version v22.7, though it doesn’t say, but all features seem accessible, not so of the less-fully-featured free version available on AbelsSoft’s website today, v22.6.
I have to go to Wikipedia and other sites to learn the album track names and lengths so I can come back to AbelsSoft’s YouTube Song Downloader and figure out from it’s search results which tracks are legit and which are mismatches, and I have to download duplicate songs to find the real one, and then delete the goofs – free Zortam Music Studio and free Picard Musicbrainz help finish proper identification and tagging.
As I get older, my own searches bring up new stuff and miss the older stuff of similar names, that’s frustrating, I wish there were date tags of original material ( I hate it when someone uploads a 1963 performance and it get’s labeled 2022 ! ),
It would be nice to make this smarter in the next generation, adding awareness of the real verified content that’s being downloaded by automatically doing the lookups I now do outside AbelsSoft’s YouTube Song Downloader ( hint – Zortam might be willing to partner, and Picard Musicbrainz is open-source ).
It would be nice if YouTube auto-tagged its content, and verified it with authentication verification databases – they may do that in-house, but full tag information is not accessible to the public, so we have to re-find and re-tag everything ourselves, and AbelsSoft YouTube Song Downloader seems, well, immature and inaccurate compared to the other tag-encyclopedia resources that I have found and depend on ( Zortam can get full lyrics, yeah ! ).
