installed ok but each time it has a pop up screen saying its 30 day trial…the offer says lifetime lic….so i deleted it…
I tried Ashampoo Uninstaller because Revo Uninstaller and IObit Uninstaller left behind residual files, but I’m having the same problem with this one too. If I have to manually delete all the folders, there’s no point in using these programs at all.

No uninstaller can guarantee 100% removal of all leftover files/folders in every case. However, these tools still help remove much more than the default uninstaller, which often leaves a lot behind.
In my opinion, Revo Uninstaller is still one of the best options. It first runs the program’s own uninstaller, then performs an additional scan to clean leftovers — which is especially useful for more complex apps like security software.
Sometimes a bit of manual cleanup is still needed, but these tools definitely reduce the workload a lot.

For those interested in avoiding the ashampoo app delivery giveaways this is a legacy ashampoo program so it does NOT install via the ashampoo app as the download is the full installer of 312MBytes, would be useful for winningpc to list the downloader size so we can determine in advance if it’s a real installer or just some small downloader like the ashampoo app downloader…
I’ve known about software like this since Norton Uninstaller and it’s always worked fine. I don’t know what version I have now, but I’m still using Ashampoo’s uninstaller, which I got here and it’s wonderful.
Be aware, though, that some software simply refuses to install if you try to monitor it. In those cases, just create a restore point before installing.
