Feature Highlights
Organize
Daminion is designed to help you to organize your digital assets. It will automatically tag your media, or use batch tagging tools to make manual tagging easy. You can quickly locate media by combining multiple tags in your search criteria and logical operands like AND/OR/NOT. Create tags with unlimited levels of hierarchical structure with Daminion. In additional, Daminion offers users a host of user-friendly yet powerful search functionalities that makes it 100x times faster. Make use of smart search options to speed up the search process and boost your team’s productivity as you now have more time for project work.
Get instant access to your files
During asset ingestion, a lot of your data will be stored on Daminion. Whenever you copy, email, or publish a company’s asset, all the file information travels along with the file. Besides, Dominion automatically syncs data with asset metadata. This provides you with an extra level of data backup. Metadata can be saved to 100+ media formats as XMP or native metadata including images, video, vector images, camera RAW!, PDF, Office, and audio formats
Data security
Daminion protects your assets on a file-level and by access control. You can easily assign user roles who can see assets in a certain folder. These roles will help you control user permissions. Configure and assign roles directly via admin panel or web-client. Only permit a user with a particular role to assign or remove tags, but not change your tag structure or delete files.
Tools for quick tagging
Daminion can automatically recognize and tag digital assets that contain a lot of metadata. For example, tag common objects on your images via Google Vision or Clarify services, existing file/folder names, GPS information, camera EXIF data, image size, colour profile, codecs, dominant colours, image orientations, etc… Multiple assets can be tagged by multiple tags. Batch tagging is optimized for the keyboard, using short-cuts. Or you can tag them by drag and drop.
Collaborate
The designers can collaborate with the same designs. Use built-in collaboration tools to manage document versions, avoid document collisions, revert the best design when you need it and easily share projects with your team or externally.
