- Open the WinningPC × HostAngle claim page and check the counter near the top. It tracks how many of the 1,000 codes are still unclaimed.
- Have a domain ready before you start. The form asks for one, and Starter does not come with a free domain on any billing cycle.
- Fill in your full name, email, mobile number, the domain you want to host, and a password you create for the account.
- HostAngle issues your free hosting activation, which brings the Starter monthly total to $0. One code per person, and it cannot be reused.
- When the account email arrives, log into cPanel, install WordPress through Softaculous, then point your domain’s DNS at HostAngle.

How good is HostAngle Starter for a small site?
The interesting thing about Starter is what HostAngle chose not to cut. LiteSpeed with its own cache is the piece that matters most on budget shared hosting, because a WordPress site on a shared server lives or dies on how much it can serve from cache instead of rebuilding every page through PHP. Add NVMe storage and PHP 8.x and the stack is genuinely current, not a 2016 setup sold at 2026 prices. Where it thins out is headroom. One website, 10 GB of storage, 100 GB of bandwidth: fine for a portfolio or a blog, tight for anything that grows. Daily backups are listed as optional on Starter rather than included, which is the line the paid tiers cross.
Key features
- LiteSpeed Web Server with LiteSpeed Cache, so repeat visitors get cached pages rather than fresh PHP builds
- 10 GB NVMe storage and 100 GB bandwidth for a single website
- Free SSL certificate and professional email on your own domain, not a shared subdomain
- cPanel with Softaculous, which turns a WordPress install into a few clicks instead of an FTP session
- DDoS protection, malware protection and a 99.9% uptime target
The good and the not-so-good
Is there something cheaper, or free for longer?
| Option | Cost | Runs WordPress? | Best for | The catch |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HostAngle Starter (this giveaway) | Free for one month, then $2.09/mo | Yes, cPanel and Softaculous | Testing a real host, or a small WordPress site | One month only; no domain included |
| Cloudflare Pages | Free, no time limit | No, static sites only | Hugo, Astro, Jekyll, plain HTML | No PHP, MySQL, cPanel or email; free plan caps at 500 builds a month and 20,000 files per site |
| GitHub Pages | Free for public repositories | No, static sites only | Personal and project pages built from a repo | Static only, no server-side code and no mailboxes |
Be honest with yourself about what you are building. If the site is static, Cloudflare Pages and GitHub Pages are free permanently, not for a month, and they will serve it faster than any entry shared plan. The reason to take the HostAngle month instead is WordPress, PHP, MySQL and email on your own domain, and none of the static hosts give you those.
Questions people ask about the HostAngle giveaway
How long does the free HostAngle hosting last?
One month. The 100% code covers the Starter monthly billing cycle, which normally lists at $2.09. After that it is a paid plan like any other.
Do I need my own domain to claim it?
Yes. The claim form has a domain field, and Starter is the one HostAngle shared plan that never includes a free domain, on monthly or yearly billing.
Do I have to enter card details?
No. HostAngle collects no card or payment details for the giveaway, and the claim form has no payment field at all.
How soon does the account go live?
Not instantly. HostAngle reviews each claim and emails your account details once it is approved. No turnaround time is published, so plan for a wait rather than same-hour provisioning.
Can I move up from Starter later?
Yes. HostAngle says you can move to a larger shared plan or across to Cloud Hosting as traffic grows. Whether a giveaway account upgrades the same way as a paid one isn’t spelled out, so ask before you plan around it.

An Indian host! That is all I had to read to STOP!
I used their service, its going good so far
is not free at all i sign up and they bill me straight away – this is a scam site check site has major errors for a legit site USERS BEWARE you will BE BILLED straight away even though states trial
Why did you go though a route that requires entering payment details… says on first page no payment information is required… did you get them to pay for a domain for you instead of bringing over your own already paid for domain? I can’t use the offer as I do not currently have a loose domain that needs hosting for a month for free to test it with… not that I’d use an Indian hosting company and create a tech-support rod for my own back! My Advice if any offer says no payment info required and later along the process you get asked for payment details STOP THINK have you done a wrong choice or are you being scammed… either way STOP don’t enter valid payment details!
they is lie, yes no cc or details needed how ever after they look at and say yes or no if say yes they send you a bill to the email used as it was free and $0.00 this is flase and missleading, i only done to see if they was any good but deff wont be using them and if they continue to harseme for payment i will seek legal action
You mean you don’t enter any payment information but they immediately send you a bill/invoice for payment? How much are they trying to demand? WinningPC HAVE YOU done a test application to see what is going on?
yes no payment details needed as stated but they do send bill for 1900 to email used and is for what ever in their currency
Hi QuakeHub,
We specifically reviewed the ₹1,999.99 invoice you mentioned.
Our records show that this invoice was generated for a separate regular order containing Cloud Plus hosting for ₹699 and a new one-year domain registration for ₹1,300.99. It was not an invoice for the WinningPC giveaway.
Both the order and payment remained “Pending/Incomplete.” Therefore, no payment was processed and no money was deducted. The order has now been cancelled, so no payment is required and no further payment reminders will be sent for it.
The WinningPC giveaway provides free hosting for the stated period and requires no payment information. Users can connect a domain they already own. A new domain registration is optional and is not included in the giveaway.
We apologise for the confusion.

Sir, there was no confusion i click the link from here and did as per we are told and said $0.00 and said is wait for someone to verify then when you did i got a bill, so we have a issues either the link you gave was incorrect or as above you is lie to poential customers?
Hi TK,
No payment details were entered or collected, and nobody was automatically charged.
Our investigation found that a billing-configuration error generated unpaid invoices for some giveaway accounts. These invoices should not have been created. They have all been cancelled, and the configuration has now been corrected.
We sincerely apologise to the affected users and to WinningPC for the confusion.

Hi, Quakehub,
Hi Timothy,
We want to clarify this because some of the claims in your comment are incorrect.
We have not amended, altered, or changed any receipt in order to hide information. We also have no reason to modify your details or misrepresent what you selected during signup.
As we explained previously, the WinningPC promotion is offered as a free trial. If you believe the invoice or receipt you originally received shows something different from what we have on record, please provide the original document you received. We are completely happy to review it and compare it with our system records.
We are not accusing you of lying, and we are not trying to hide anything. We simply want to establish exactly what happened based on the records from both sides.
Please send the bill/receipt you mentioned. If there has been an error on our side, we will acknowledge it and correct it. If the records show otherwise, we will explain clearly what happened.
We would appreciate keeping the discussion factual so this can be resolved properly.

Hi QuakeHub,
We sincerely apologise for the confusion. After investigating, we confirmed that a billing-configuration error incorrectly generated unpaid invoices for some giveaway accounts.
No payment information was collected and no payment was processed. All incorrectly generated giveaway invoices have already been cancelled, and users will not be asked to pay them.
The underlying issue has now been fixed. The giveaway remains free and does not require any payment information.
— HostAngle Support
Hi TK,
To clarify, the HostAngle giveaway does not require users to enter credit card, debit card, PayPal, bank account or other payment information.
A technical billing-configuration error caused unpaid invoices to be generated for some applicants. No payment information was collected and nobody was charged. All incorrect giveaway invoices have been cancelled, and the issue has now been fixed.
Users can connect a domain they already own. Purchasing and registering a new domain is optional and is not included in the free hosting giveaway.
— HostAngle Support
I tested this giveaway before sharing it. You can skip the verification step and go straight to the Control Panel to test the hosting service, such as linking a domain or installing a website.
If you receive a bill or are asked to enter payment information, please do not proceed. This applies not only to this giveaway but to any giveaway or free service. It is always best to stop, check the details carefully, and think twice before providing personal or payment information.
Thank you for testing the giveaway and advising users not to proceed with any unexpected payment request.
We investigated the reports and identified a billing-configuration error that incorrectly generated unpaid invoices for some giveaway accounts. No payment information was collected, no users were charged, and all incorrect giveaway invoices have already been cancelled.
We also reviewed the ₹1,999.99 amount mentioned in the comments. That invoice related to a separate regular order containing a paid Cloud Plus hosting plan and a new one-year domain registration. It was not generated for the free giveaway, remained unpaid and has now been cancelled.
The configuration error has been fixed. The WinningPC giveaway remains free, requires no payment information and allows users to test the hosting service using a domain they already own.
We sincerely apologise to WinningPC and its users for the confusion.

WOW this is a fantastic giveaway deal for phishing and other spammers and scammers to use for FREE and be practically untraceable to the true account holder… well done winningpc.com the world needs free 1 month duration scam websites! That could be used for very limited legitimate purposes… who wants their legitimate website hosted by a foreign company with different privacy laws they cannot enforce without traveling to an foreign court!
Thanks for your concerns. This giveaway is intended for legitimate users who want to test HostAngle before paying for a hosting plan. No payment information is required, making it a low-risk way to try the service, especially for users in India.

even lower risk for scammers as nothing is traceable to the real user, no money no address just a fake name and anonymous email address…. use a good VPN or tor browser and any criminal is all set.
my friend thanks for your advise 🙂
Hi TK,
Thank you for raising your security concerns.
Although the giveaway does not require payment information, applications are reviewed before hosting accounts are approved. Our acceptable-use policies strictly prohibit phishing, spam, fraud and other unlawful activities. Accounts found violating these policies are suspended or terminated.
We have also fixed the billing-configuration error that incorrectly generated unpaid invoices for some applicants. No payment information was collected, nobody was charged, and all incorrect giveaway invoices have been cancelled.

every datacenter prohibits use of their servers for illegal purposes such as phishing and spam and scams but the problem is no data center, yours included monitor the content placed online to see if it is obviously masquerading as some financial institution or running some kind of scam… you rely upon victims and other 3rd parties reporting illegal activity and not all services take things down even when they are demonstrated to be illegal scams… Google is rife with scam adverts that they pretend don’t go against their policies even when their policy on misrepresentation is quoted to them they still side with the criminal advertisers and cloudfront provide a URL to host their illegal scamming site without a custom domain… I’m glad you fixed all the bugs that were exposed by this giveaway but it does not instill us with a lot of confidence that your servers and admin is ready for 100% uptime reliability. All the best
