As usual for Thundersoft/Gilisoft media manipulation programs it steals FFMPEG.ORG DLLs Intellectual Property. The FFMPEG.ORG DLLs are built with the GPLv3 switches enabled so it is illegal to distribute them in a closed source product like this pseudo-video-editor. It’s a collection of programs/wizards not an actual video editor, some parts are still in Chinese!

It’s a right mess with EACH program needing to be allowed past windows 10 or above ransomware protected folder protection.
SO just badly designed set of multiple GUIs to use stolen FFMPEG.ORG to perform editing re-coding and transformations one at a time meaning either massive wasted intermediate losslessly encoded writes before the final activity that you’d have it re-encode to the final lossy encoded final format… far too much mental gymnastics to plan all this out when you could do it all in VSDC Free Video Editor in one pass let alone the extra you can do in the Pro build. It’s an old suite of programs too with videoeditor.exe being last modified 25th June 2024
One of the problems with these pirated FFMPEG editors is you can only perform one action at a time and have to re-encode lossilly each time which means you end up with a badly degraded video if you need to do multiple “edits”. Better off using a real video editor that is coded by more than a GUI developer.
