Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I locate active promo codes for WinX DVD Ripper Platinum?
The most reliable place to find verified deals and promotional codes is right here on WinningPC. We continuously update our software pages to ensure you have access to official, working discounts.
What is the biggest markdown currently offered for this DVD ripper?
At the moment, you can activate a 63% OFF discount on the 1-Year/3 PCs license exclusively on WinningPC, lowering the standard $79.95 price tag down to just $29.95.
How do I digitize my physical discs using this software?
The process is straightforward: insert your disc, click the “DVD Disc” button to import your video, choose your desired output format or device profile, and click “RUN”.
Will this program work if my DVD is scratched?
Yes. The software features a Safe Mode designed to safely read defective areas and slightly damaged sectors, allowing you to recover and digitize aging media.
Can it handle newly released movie discs?
Absolutely. It is equipped to manage complex data streams and modern encryption schemes like ARccOS or X-project, ensuring your backups remain stable.
What happens when I try to copy a 99-title disc?
Unlike common software that gets confused and produces massive, unplayable files, this program relies on a unique title check kernel to isolate the correct main title in seconds.
How long does the ripping process usually take?
By leveraging your computer’s GPU acceleration, it can process and encode a full-length movie in about 5 minutes.
Does shrinking the video size ruin the picture quality?
No. You can reduce the overall file size by roughly 80% for easier storage on mobile devices without noticing a drop in visual clarity.

I like the results, this works on old slow low-ram computers, slap in a disk, copy, walk away, who cares how long it takes if I’ve gone to bed.
This uses video card resources like Intel, nVIDIA, AMD, and that’s nice, I get up to 60 frames per second copying, though even at typical 20-or-so frames per second copy rate, it’s just fine.
The results seem manageable, I select middle quality MP4 conversion, with high quality engine, and use the inner drop-down menus for each track to select the subtitles I want.
But the subtitles are on the screen in the recording, not toggle-able as a separate file.
That would be the next feature I’d like – how to save subtitles as separate files.
Should I be converting differently, like to MKV or something, if I want subtitles toggle-able or as a separate file?
Does anyone have a master web reference on how to create the types of video rip files that do provide the variety of features I;m after?
– – – – –
I’m comparing to Leawo and WonderFox VideoFactory, which I have used, and they are similar, requiring trial and error to figure out how to tell them what you want, every user interface is weird, then trust that it will do it, then review the results when its all done, and do it over again if something didn’t work out – ouch!
OK, make that two requests now – I’d like these things to ask us target questions, like screen size and qualities and subtitles in the file as toggle-able, or on-screen all the time not toggle-able. or as a separate file.
I just want 720p, small-ish file, subtitles toggle-able during playback.
Wow it’s hard to figure out how to get all that, and how to test different choices to make sure – some 60-minute shows are 1 GB or more, some are 256 MB or less, how come?
I’d also love a crawling converter to go through my hard drive and convert all larger videos down to those criteria – it would save space, and I’m happy with the viewing result.
We all have our goals.
