Hide Files
To protect files and folders from prying eyes, Wise Folder Hider allows you to hide your files and folders. That means your files and folders will disappear from Windows File Explorer, and your private or important data can not be accessed or deleted.

Create an encrypted locker to protect files and folders.
Under the “Encrypt File” tab, click on “Create” in the lower right corner. In the pop-up window, you can customize the filename, location, and file size, then click on the “Create” button

Encrypt files and folders
When created successfully, an empty folder will expand to copy and paste what you are going to do. Normally, it would be a “Drive Z” mounted to your disk. Then, close this folder and click the drop-down arrow to choose Unmount; drive Z will disappear from Windows Explorer. Close the software; your files and folders were encrypted successfully.

Password to the locker
To set a password, click on the drop-down arrow, then choose “Set password.” To keep the locker safe, you should create a strong password that includes special characters.
