Is this Somio giveaway safe and legit?
Yes. The license is issued by Somio itself and tied to an account you create on its own giveaway form.
Nothing to crack or install
The license attaches to your account when you log in on somio.ai. There’s no key file, no patched installer, nothing downloaded from a third party.
Straight from the publisher
Registration goes through Somio’s giveaway page, not a reseller or a shared key list.
No payment details needed
The giveaway asks for an email and password only, so there’s no card to hand over.
Read the terms before you publish anything
The free license is for non-commercial use, which matters more for an AI music tool than for most giveaways (more on that below).
How well does Somio work?
What sets Somio apart is how much it packs under one login. Most AI music tools stop at “here’s your song.” Somio keeps going: you can extend a track that ends too soon, regenerate just the chorus you don’t like, pull out the stems, then turn the result into a lyric video. The replace-section tool is the one I’d use most, because rerolling a whole song to fix eight bars burns credits fast. And that’s the honest catch with this giveaway. You get 50 generation credits, and Somio doesn’t publish how many a song or a video costs, so heavy experimenting could drain them well before the six months are up. Somio also says its tracks have no length limit, which is a real plus over tools that cap you at short clips.
Key features
- Text, lyrics or reference audio to song: describe a mood, paste your own lyrics, or upload a clip to steer the style. Full songs, instrumentals or acapella.
- Your own voice: upload and verify a voice sample with My Voice, or save an AI Singer model to reuse across songs.
- Edit instead of starting over: extend tracks, replace specific sections, or remix into a new style.
- Vocal remover and stem splitter: split any track into vocals, drums, bass and other instruments.
- Video tools: AI music videos, lyric videos, singing videos from a single image, and dance videos synced to your track.
What we think

Somio vs AI voice tools: which one do you actually need?
Somio often gets lumped in with AI voice changers, but it does a different job. Somio writes and produces original songs; most voice tools change how your voice sounds in a game, a call or a recording. If you just want an existing song split into vocals and instruments, the free, open-source Ultimate Vocal Remover handles that without any AI generator at all.
| Tool | Main job | Makes original songs? | Price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Somio (this giveaway) | AI music generator with editing, stems and music videos | Yes | Free for 6 months (50 credits); normally $9.99/month | Creating new songs and music videos |
| HitPaw VoicePea | Real-time voice changer with AI covers and a music generator | Yes, as a side feature | $6.96/month | Streamers who want voice effects plus occasional AI covers |
| iMobie Vozard | Real-time and file-based voice changer, 200+ effects | No | $9.09/month | Gaming and Discord voice effects |
| Voisi | AI text-to-speech and voice synthesis | No | $6.99/month | Narration and voiceovers |

| iMyFone MagicMic | Real-time voice changer and soundboard | No | $6.99/month | Gaming, streaming and meme sounds |
Frequently Asked Questions
How many songs can I make with 50 credits?
It depends on what you generate, and Somio doesn’t list a per-song credit cost in its public materials. Check the credit price shown in the app before you hit Create, especially for video tools, so you can plan the 50 credits rather than running out in a weekend.
Can I use songs from the giveaway on a monetized YouTube channel?
No, not under the giveaway terms. The free license is for non-commercial use only, and a monetized channel, a client video or an ad all count as commercial. Somio’s commercial rights come with its paid plans.
What happens when the 6 months are up?
The giveaway license expires. You’d keep your account and can switch to the $9.99/month plan if you want to continue. Download anything you want to keep as MP3 or WAV while the license is active.
I already have a Somio account. Can I still claim it?
Yes. Enter your existing email and password in the giveaway form and click “Get Free License Now”. You don’t need a new account.
Do I need to download anything to use the free license?
No. The license activates when you log in at somio.ai, and you create music right in your browser. Somio also has iOS and Android apps, but the giveaway terms don’t say whether the license carries over to them.
Can Somio make songs with my own voice?
Yes. Upload and verify a voice sample with the My Voice feature, and Somio will generate songs that keep your vocal tone.
Is there a length limit on songs?
No, according to Somio. It generates full-length tracks rather than 30-second clips, with no extra settings needed.
My account still says “Free Trial” after logging in. What should I do?
Log out, refresh the page and log in again; that usually triggers the switch. If it still shows “Free Trial”, email support@somio.ai. Also check that you clicked the confirmation link in Somio’s email, since the license won’t apply until you do
