What’s new? Is just a yt-dlp_x86.exe refresh to latest build at time of creation or has any of the programs code been changed as we can always update yt-dlp_x86.exe on our own without worrying about getting a new lifetime license.

does not download from youtube under XP or Vista as the downloader executable for youtube is built for windows 7 or above and the OOOOOOOOLD fallback downloader youtube-dl.exe is long obsolete.

Yes I did… the fallback youtube-dl.exe included is obsolete a new github repository exists for it off the root of the github account for the yt-dlp project that is maintained and should replace the one distributed in allavsoft downloader both projects have binaries that are XP and Vista compatible but the developer seems to like to claim XP and Vista compatibility bit fails to include the working compatible downloader modules his program relies upon. It is also relatively simple to create an update job for task scheduler to execute the admin self-update command for these modules and avoid having to produce and re-license giveaway minor version updates just to supply newer download modules and make no other code changes to the devs actual code.
