Note: Development of O&O MediaRecovery has been discontinued. Existing users can continue to use the software, but no further updates will be provided. We recommend switching to O&O DiskRecovery as an alternative product.
O&O MediaRecovery Pro lets you recover deleted photos that captured those precious moments; last year’s vacation, the day you got married, or the first pictures of your children. If those irreplaceable memories are deleted it no longer has to mean they are lost forever.

It’s been more that a full and there is no response from O&O Software with my requested licenses, even using a VPN IP address that is in Germany – perhaps they catalog VPN addresses and deny giving anyone licenses if the request arrives over a known VPN IP, even if it’s a German IP address.
Oh well.
Note, by ‘Media Recovery’ they mean photos, music, and videos, NOT physical media like drives and cards.
They have a DIFFERENT product if we want to recover ‘non-media’ files like documents and partitions and other data.
There is a [ Try Now ] link on their website, but they do not say what the limits of ‘trying’ are, so I have questions, does the trial show what can be recovered but denies recovering, does it fully work but only for 14 days, does it only get 10 files a day, or only get 1 MB of recovered data per session, or what?
I just tried the free trial, I think it leaves a watermark “Unregistered Trial Version” on image files at least, most files refused preview, and the program crashd out when previewing a promised PNG file. I won’t waste my time giving it another go.
Oh well.
O&O are not strong on communication, they may think that they know what they are doing, and the rest of the world can try to learn, but O&O will not help us learn.
Germans – can’t live with ’em. can’t convert them to communicate with the rest of the world.
O&O is starting to mean “dead end” – more like 0&0, Zero & Zero.
It’s up to them to deal with their reputation, and I don’t see that they care.
OK.
Moving on.

I have paid-for ZAR Zero Assumption Recovery, but it is overkill.

Thanks for your sharing.
You should use a new email address to get the license code for free.
If you still can not get it in your inbox, I can help you.
Thanks, but the demo version worked enough to show it’s lack of competitive maturity, ONLY getting ‘media’ of music, images, and videos, NOT getting ‘media’ like drives and cards, plus crashing is a significant no-no.
Anyway, as I wrote, I tried a variety of ways to get the program offering, the website said “offer in Germany only”, and so I tried a VPN in Germany, which got me success on the offering page, but I never received any email with licenses, I tried a variety of free and paid-for email addresses, zero, zilch, nada, nein, nothing in from O&O in response.
It’s OK, there are some great FREE and FOR-FEE alternative data recovery programs that are mature and well-supported.
Thanks for trying to let us explore this and share.
